RECYCLE – REUSE – REDUCE CHARITY SHOP was founded by Swing SE Ji when she was volunteering at Rishikesh Yoga School – The yoga Capital of India

The mission of this shop is to promote zero waste by providing a center for people to donate second hand items, swap second hand items or take items they need in exchange for a donation, while at the same time, raising money to help the local community. The shop is run by a team of seasonal volunteers.

The idea for the RRR Charity shop arose after Swing SE Ji noticed the large quantity of items being left behind by visitors and tourists, especially by short term holiday visitors. The shop was conceived as a means of reducing both waste and consumptions by “recycling” these items, in addition to offering information and knowledge about how together we can recycle daily use items to benefit the local community.

Donations are made at the donor’s discretion. Only “USEABLE” items are accepted for swopping or as donations. The shop does not make many print flyers or advertise itself. We depend on every lover of our mother earth to spread the news of our activity. The shop does offer bulletin board space for the community to promote local events and opportunity.

The first shop located at Tapovan Rishikesh, India. We are putting our collection into the primary school, feeding cow and dogs. We will continue do the same to help more.
